This Town in Illinois State Takes the Crown for Most Violent

Although Chicago is sometimes highlighted for its high crime rate, Danville, an Illinois municipality, has the title for being the most violent.
What Makes Danville So Dangerous?
In Vermilion County, Danville is a tiny city home to around 28,000 people. It is situated close to the Indiana border, approximately 89 miles northwest of Chicago. Every year, Danville residents have a one in twenty chance of having their belongings stolen or destroyed.
What Is Being Done to Reduce Crime in Danville?
